Wait?!?! What’s this?? Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner?? Yep! You heard correct!
I will be posting a series of recipes, six for now, focusing on…drumroll please……….chicken! The Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner recipes will feature chicken as the main ingredient in the dish. Let’s face it, most of us eat a lot of chicken…? You know why? Because it’s generally quick & easy, nutritious, affordable (especially when you can score a deal during a good sale) and it can take on so many different shapes, forms and flavors – it’s great! I mean check this out, here is the nutritional information for four ounces of chicken breast:
That’s a great amount of tummy-filling protein per ounce of chicken. It’s also low in calories and sodium, carb-free and best of all…pretty darn yummy!
Along the way I will sharing tips and techniques for preparing chicken in a number of different and tasty ways. Self-admittedly, I shied away from any part of the chicken other than the white meat for years, I did not know how much I was missing out! I have a great one-pan recipe in the works for chicken thighs, it’s absolutely delicious. I will posting recipes that anyone, from the beginning to the seasoned home cooks, will enjoy preparing and most of all eating.
